Job summary

Nestlé Purina in Mississauga is seeking a Distribution Centre Operations Supervisor for a 12‑month contract to lead a team of warehouse operators and drive performance to meet delivery commitments and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will coach and develop staff, allocate resources, enforce SOPs, collaborate with shipping and operations, and promote safety and quality across the site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within a warehouse environment leading operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software used throughout the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills leading team members and communicating with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of operators to achieve Distribution Centre goals and customer satisfaction.
• Report to the Distribution Centre Manager and act as a key decision-maker for operations.
• Coach and mentor staff, provide on floor coaching and formal evaluations, and drive safety and quality improvements.
• Ensure resources, including equipment and personnel, are allocated to meet daily operational needs.
• Coordinate shipping office and operations to satisfy customer orders and communicate effectively with management.
