Job summary

The Salvation Army Westbank Thrift Store is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the warehouse team, oversee reclamation, processing, sorting, pricing and distribution of donated goods under the Thrift Store Manager.

You will supervise 5–10 staff and volunteers, ensure Health & Safety compliance, manage scheduling and training, and collaborate with the Retail team to optimize store operations and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a warehouse team in a retail or nonprofit setting.
• Strong knowledge of OH&S policies and warehouse safety practices.
• Ability to train, coach and develop staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, supervises and coordinates warehouse operations including reclamation, processing, sorting and distribution of donated goods.
• Leads a team of 5–10 staff and volunteers; manages schedules, performance and safety.
• Collaborates with Retail to ensure store inventory and logistics meet goals and budget.
• Assists in budgeting, reporting and maintaining donor relationships.

Education

College Diploma

Licensed Forklift Operator

Valid driver’s license
