Job summary

The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda is seeking a dedicated Store Associate for the Airdrie Thrift Store. You will support the Store Manager with daily operations, assist customers and donors, and ensure accurate cash handling.

You will help replenish shelves, maintain tidiness, and contribute to safe, efficient store procedures. The role requires physical activity and a commitment to the mission and values of hope, service, dignity and stewardship.

Qualifications

• Willingness to support The Salvation Army's mission.
• Compliance with OH&S policies.
• Two years of store/warehouse experience.
• Completion of some high school.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and donors in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Handle cash and debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain store cleanliness and orderly displays.
• Assist with inventory and stock rotation.
• Support store budgets through customer service.
• Provide on-the-job training to staff when needed.
