Job summary

Teck Resources Limited offers a co-op placement at Highland Valley Copper in Logan Lake, BC. This 8‑month, temporary full‑time program begins January 2027 and targets business students focused on Supply Chain Management or Logistics.

Candidates must be enrolled in a Canadian post‑secondary institution for the full term and willing to relocate or commute; a valid study permit may be required. Strong MS Office skills are expected; AutoCAD/SolidWorks knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with diverse teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for commutes to site.

Responsibilities

• Be a safety leader and follow Teck safety and environmental rules.
• Support research and project assignments; assist with negotiations, trends and economic analysis.
• Perform database administration and inventory replenishment.
• Prepare tender documentation and learn direct charge buying duties.
• Support business improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvements.
