Thyssen Mining is hiring experienced Jumbo Operators and MacLean Bolters for underground development projects in Canada. This camp-based role focuses on safety and production, with emphasis on operating mechanized bolting equipment and maintaining high standards in ground control.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of 5 years of underground mining experience, hands-on use of MacLean Bolters/Jumbos, and a valid Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of underground mine development experience.
• Experience operating MacLean Bolters and/or Jumbos.
• Valid Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core or provincial equivalent.
• Strong understanding of ground support installation methods and standards.
• Ability to identify geological conditions including faults, joints, and unstable ground.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physically demanding work; must be capable of working 12-hour shifts.

What You’ll Need

• Demonstrated experience operating MacLean Bolters and/or Jumbos or similar bolting equipment
