Job summary

Dumas Contracting Inc. is seeking a MacLean Bolter Operator for the Owl Creek project at Hoyle Pond in the Timmins camp. The role involves safe operation of MacLean bolting equipment to install ground support in underground development headings, with site-specific rotations and extended shifts.

You will work across multiple sites, perform pre-operational checks, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety protocols while contributing to production targets and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a MacLean Bolter in underground mining.
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
• Knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and confined environments.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate MacLean Bolter to install primary and secondary ground support (rock bolts, mesh, screen) in development headings according to the mine plan.
• Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment, reporting all issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership.

MacLean Bolter Operator -Multiple Projects (Various sites across the Timmins Camp, Embedded & FIFO)

Rotation

7/7, 14/14, 4/5/5/4

Shift

10 - 12 Hour shifts, depending on the site schedule

Wage

$68.80 - $86.00/HR
