The position offers camp life with paid flights from Calgary or Edmonton, a 14x14 schedule, and industry leading wages up to 77.99 CAD per hour with premiums for night shifts.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson HET certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting on Caterpillar mining equipment.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Union membership may be required.

Finning Canada is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team at the Suncor Fort Hills site in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role involves field work on large CAT mining equipment in the oil sands, supporting both shop and field operations. The ideal candidates are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and possess strong troubleshooting skills on Caterpillar equipment.
