Job summary

Matrix is hiring experienced Haul Truck Drivers for a remote mining site near Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. These drivers will operate Surface A30 haul trucks on a 3 weeks in / 3 weeks out rotation, supporting mining and construction operations.

The ideal candidates are safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in remote environments with extended shifts and varying weather. Fly-in/out transportation and camp accommodations are provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years surface A30 haul truck experience
• Mining, construction, or heavy industrial background
• Valid haul truck operator qualifications and driver’s license
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Operate Surface A30 haul trucks on a 3 weeks in / 3 weeks out rotation
• Support mining and construction operations at a remote site
• Work extended shifts in remote, weather-variable environments

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 4 years previous surface A30 haul truck operating experience required
• Relevant experience in mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments
• Valid driver and/or operator qualifications for haul truck operation
• Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and heavy-duty driving practices
• Ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
• Ability to work extended shifts and rotational schedules
• Comfortable working in remote locations and varying weather conditions
• Clear verbal communication skills
