Job summary

Matrix is seeking an experienced Haul Truck Driver (A30) for a remote mining site near Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. The role features a 3 weeks in / 3 weeks out schedule with 12-hour shifts during the season, with camp accommodations provided and fly-in/fly-out logistics.

You will safely operate and maintain haul truck equipment, follow site procedures, and work effectively in remote, industrial environments while contributing to safe material movement and production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy haul trucks in mining or industrial environments.
• Proven commitment to safety and compliance with procedures.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul truck (A30) in mining and industrial settings.
• Transport materials according to site procedures and requirements.
• Follow safety policies, PPE, traffic control, and equipment guidelines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical concerns.
• Maintain awareness of site conditions and communicate with supervisors and site personnel.
• Support daily production goals and keep equipment clean and serviceable.
