Job summary

Fort McKay Group of Companies LP is seeking Haul Truck Operators for the CNUL site north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Operators will safely drive mining haul trucks in a dynamic setting, prioritising productivity and safety.

Preference for experience with Caterpillar 785 or 797, and eligibility for a 7/7 camp rotation with flights from Edmonton or Calgary. Camp accommodations and flights are provided, with a comprehensive benefits package and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience on Caterpillar 785 or 797 haul trucks.
• Valid safety certification or CSTS/OSSA equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Strong safety focus and reliability.

Fort McKay Group of Companies LP is seeking Haul Truck Operators for their CNUL site north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. These operators will be responsible for safely operating mining haul trucks in a dynamic environment, ensuring both productivity and safety. The ideal candidates are experienced with Caterpillar 785 or 797 trucks, committed to safety, and able to work a 7/7 rotation with camp and flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary.

What You’ll Need

• Experience on Caterpillar 785 or 797 haul trucks (minimum requirement)
• Valid class five (5) driver’s license and clean three (3) drivers abstract
• Valid CSO or BSO or combination of CSTS and OSSA
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to speak, write and read English
• Ability to take direction and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong commitment to safety
• Moderate understanding of vehicles, heavy equipment, basic maintenance and troubleshooting
