Job summary

Artemis Gold Inc. is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver high-quality technical support and ensure secure, efficient IT operations at the Blackwater Mine site. You will support staff across four BC locations via helpdesk, phone, email, remote tools, and on-site interactions.

The role requires strong Windows and Microsoft 365 skills, Azure AD administration, and customer-focused communication. A two weeks on / two weeks off rotation is expected, with safety-mindedness and teamwork valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are assets.
• Minimum three years in IT support/service desk, multi-site experience preferred.
• Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and OT environments is an asset.
• Strong Windows OS and endpoint hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Solid networking knowledge (VPNs, firewalls, IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Understanding of cybersecurity basics: malware protection, authentication, data protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, professional IT support to staff across multiple BC locations via helpdesk, phone, email, and remote tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Manage user access and permissions using Azure AD and related tools.
• Install and maintain workstations, software, and peripherals; ensure security and compliance.
• Create clear, user-friendly documentation to promote self-service and adoption.
• Collaborate with IT team to improve service delivery and processes.
• Monitor IT systems; identify risks and suggest upgrades or remediation.
• Maintain records of IT assets, licenses, and lifecycle status.
• Escalate complex issues with thorough context for faster resolution.
• Document system configurations and SOPs; contribute to IT initiatives.
• Willingness to travel to different sites on a two weeks on/off rotation.
