Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental management experience in mining.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and permits.
• Experience with monitoring, impact assessment, and reporting.
• Proficiency in environmental management systems and software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor parameters like water/air quality, noise, and rehabilitation progress.
• Ensure compliance with permits, licenses and applicable legislation.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans and procedures.
• Conduct ESIA/audits for mining activities.
• Oversee waste management and pollution control at the mine.
• Engage regulators, stakeholders, and local communities on environmental matters.
