Job summary

BW Gold, a subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc., is hiring a Drill Operator to safely and efficiently operate DTH drilling rigs at the Blackwater Mine site in British Columbia. This permanent, on-site role follows a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotation, with duties emphasizing safety and reliable equipment operation.

You will perform daily inspections, report hazards, and coordinate with the crew to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in mining environments.
• Formal heavy equipment operator training is preferred.
• Ability to work a remote 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety leadership and enforce BW Gold safety standards.
• Operate and maintain DTH drilling rigs and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and log findings.
• Work outdoors in all weather and communicate with team via radio.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
