Job summary

BW Gold, a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc., is seeking a Drill Operator to safely operate DTH drill rigs at the Blackwater Mine site. You will work outdoors in all weather and adhere to safety procedures while maintaining equipment.

This permanent role offers a two weeks on / two weeks off schedule, remote-site camp living, and a strong safety culture. Prior heavy equipment experience and a valid license are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent.
• Experience operating equipment in a mining environment.
• Ability to read survey stakes and interpret plans.
• Comfortable living and working in a remote camp setting on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
• OF A 3 and Mine Rescue certs are assets.

Responsibilities

• Operate DTH drill rigs safely and efficiently according to plans and procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and log equipment status; report deficiencies.
• Maintain clean and organized work environment around equipment.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow PPE requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team via radio; ensure safe operations.
