Brandt Group of Companies in Saskatoon is seeking a skilled millwright to dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial machinery, read blueprints, and participate in preventive maintenance. You will train apprentices, uphold safety standards, and contribute to customer service and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five years practical experience in the millwright trade.
• Journeyperson’s certification (asset).
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong safety awareness and rigging/hoisting practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
• Operate hoisting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, and/or repair activities.
• Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Prepare electronic inspection and service reports.
• Train and mentor apprentices and other staff on Industrial Repair practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
