Qualifications

• Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright, Red Seal, or provincial equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a recognized Millwright Apprenticeship preferred.
• 1–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read schematics and operating manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on pumps, valves, motors, gears, and conveyors.
• Install, dismantle, align, inspect, and commission stationary machinery.
• Interpret schematics and drawings; suggest improvements when needed.
• Execute precision machining, welding, pipefitting, and fabrication tasks.
• Respond to emergencies; coordinate with external contractors as required.
• Use CMMS/EAM to document work orders and update parts history.
