Qualifications

• Journeyperson Millwright Certification (Alberta) and/or Red Seal Certification.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing/mining/heavy equipment environments is an asset.
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on pumps, conveyors, motors, seals, and rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Read and interpret drawings and plans to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Assemble, fit, align, and adjust machinery and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with operations, engineers, electricians, welders and other trades.
• Maintain maintenance records within the CMMS system.
• Support a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

Responsibilities:

As part of our Maintenance team, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant equipment reliability and performance including:

• Performing preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on industrial equipment including pumps, conveyors, motors, seals, and rotating equipment
• Troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Diagnosing equipment issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Reading and interpreting drawings and plans to complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Assembling, fitting, aligning, and adjusting machinery and equipment
• Responding to breakdowns and minimizing operational downtime
• Working collaboratively with operations, engineers, electricians, welders, and other trades
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records within the CMMS system
• Supporting a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Journeyperson Millwright Certification (Alberta) and/or Red Seal Certification
• OR
• Registered 4th Year Millwright Apprentice (Alberta Apprenticeship Program)
• Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, mining, or heavy equipment environment considered an asset
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Basic computer skills

Competitive compensation:

• Journeypersons: $46.195/hour plus shift premiums
• 4th Year Apprentices: 90% of the applicable apprenticeship rate
• Excellent overtime opportunities, paid at 1.5x for the first overtime hour worked in a week and 2.0x for all subsequent overtime hours, provided a minimum of five (5) overtime hours are worked
