Job summary

Craig Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our Blackfalds, Alberta team. You will install, maintain, and repair heavy equipment, interpret blueprints, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has journeyperson Millwright certification or equivalent, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Travel across Canada/US may be required.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Millwright certification or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Extensive experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, dismantle, and relocate machinery and heavy equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Fabricate or modify components as needed during installation or repair.
• Align and commission machinery to specifications.
• Maintain documentation and safety/quality records.
• Mentor apprentices and support safety initiatives.
