Job summary

Darling International Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to maximize uptime and productivity across our facilities in Ontario.

The role requires a Certified Millwright 433A ticket and experience with conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Boiler experience is a plus, and electrical knowledge is beneficial. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and pension outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

Certified Millwright 433A ticket is required.
Experience with screw conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, pumps and machinery rebuilds.
Understanding of electrical components is an asset.
Experience with boiler systems would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery and equipment according to plans.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implement effective solutions.
Align and calibrate machinery and equipment using precision tools.
Fabricate required parts for installation.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other team members to optimize performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Work independently when required and as part of the team.
Other duties as required.
