Job summary

Saputo is seeking a Millwright for our Calgary facility to perform reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will troubleshoot breakdowns, install modifications and help keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates hold a journeyperson Millwright ticket, food-industry experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This is a unionized, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Millwright journeyperson ticket or certificate
• Experience in food industry or high-speed packaging plant preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with all departments
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient with computer-based work orders

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive, predictive and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime
• Carry out equipment installations and modifications
• Maintain food-safety while working in a processing environment
• Collaborate with other trades groups to complete projects
