Job summary

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Millwright for an existing opportunity within our organization. You will perform routine/preventive maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing and packaging equipment in a clean, safe environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role supports shifts including afternoons, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Competitive compensation is offered with premiums for evening, night, and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Millwright licence.
• Experience with process equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Food industry or high speed packaging experience.
• Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints.
• Welding experience is an asset.
• Boiler, refrigeration and air handling systems experience is an asset.
• Electrical experience is an asset.
• PLC training and experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• High level of self-motivation and initiative.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Dependable with a good attendance and safety record in current position.
• Available to work afternoon and night shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
• Available to switch shifts at short notice to replace absent workers

Overview Of The Role

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Millwright, for an existing opportunity within our organization. You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the routine/preventive maintenance and trouble shooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment.

Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Wednesday to Friday and every 4th Saturday. 6:30pm-6:30am.

Salary: $47.96/hour. Evening, night and weekend premiums available. Hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays are compensated at one‑and‑one‑half times the regular hourly rate.
