Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Hamilton is seeking a Millwright Apprentice to support the Maintenance team in the repair and installation of industrial machinery. Candidates will work alongside licensed professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Basic knowledge of industrial machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
• Valid G Driver’s License considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing industrial machinery.
• Support maintenance activities of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.

The Millwright Apprentice will work alongside licensed Millwrights to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in a fast‑paced industrial environment. What’s Expected

• Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and testing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
• Support maintenance activities involving hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, cooling, fuel, and exhaust systems
• Assist with servicing pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, presses, generators, and hydraulic/pneumatic controls
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
• Accurately complete work orders, service checklists, and maintenance reports
• Report equipment malfunctions and defects to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Return unused parts and company tools to designated areas
• Follow all Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Support company Quality and Environmental objectives
• Other duties as assigned by management

You have:

• Registered Millwright Apprentice (433A) or actively pursuing apprenticeship registration
• Minimum 2–3 years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
• Previous industrial or mechanical maintenance experience considered an asset
• Basic knowledge of industrial machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment
• Valid G Driver’s License considered an asset

Shift: Monday- Friday, 6:00AM-3:00PM, overtime as required.

Wage: $26.70 per hour.
