Job summary

Interfor Corporation in Timmins, Ontario, invites skilled Industrial Millwrights to join our team. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance mill equipment to ensure peak performance, with a $48.54 per hour pay and a 10-hour shift rotation (nights, afternoons, days) from Monday to Thursday.

The role requires Red Seal Millwright or PlanerTechnician certification, a strong safety background, and mechanical/electrical aptitude; sawmill/planer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies when mechanical breakdowns affect operations.
• Operate machining tools to manufacture parts.

Job description

Interfor is looking for skilled, safety‑focused, and motivated Industrial Millwrights to join our team in Timmins. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our mill running at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing industrial equipment across the operation.

This position offers competitive compensation at $48.54 per hour and a Monday to Thursday, nights, afternoons and days rotation with 10-hour shifts.

What You’ll Do

• Repair equipment: conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, automated systems, etc. (including welding);
• Identify the cause of machinery breakdowns or malfunctions and do the necessary repairs;
• Install/optimize/adjust all the equipment in the mill to maximize its efficiency;
• Respond to emergencies when mechanical breakdowns affect operations;
