Job summary

Interfor Corporation is seeking a Red Seal Certified Millwright for our Elk Lake, Ontario location. Starting wage is $44.16 per hour. Applicants should reside in or be willing to relocate; this is not a camp or remote role.

Responsibilities include preventive and breakdown maintenance of sawmill, planer and kilns, fabricating and installing equipment from blueprints, and collaborating with a team to ensure machine reliability. Shifts include days, afternoons, graveyard, or weekends.

Qualifications

  • Red Seal certification required for Millwright role.
  • Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
  • Strong safety background and adherence to regulations.

Certified Red Seal Millwright, Elk Lake, ON

Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Red Seal Certified Millwright in our Elk Lake Ontariolocation. Starting rate for this position is $44.16 per hour.


Applicants should live in or be willing to relocate. This is not a camp or remote work facility.

What You’ll Do


  • Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all safety rules and regulations.

  • Preventive maintenance, repair and breakdown maintenance of sawmill, planer and kilns.

  • Fabricate, construct and install equipment and machinery with the use of blueprints and diagrams.

  • Solve problems and work as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention.

  • Available to work days, afternoon, graveyard, or weekend shifts.
