Job summary

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a skilled Millwright for our manufacturing facility in Ontario. This full-time position involves preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting of packaging and processing equipment, with a focus on food safety and quality.

You will work in a clean, safe environment reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Candidate should hold a Millwright licence and have experience with process equipment.

Qualifications

• Millwright licence is required.
• Experience with process equipment in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Welding, boiler, refrigeration and electrical experience are assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment during breakdowns.
• Install and modify equipment as required.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment in food-processing setting.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the routine/preventive maintenance and trouble shooting of manufacturing and packaging equipmentStatus: Full-Time, PermanentSchedule: Friday to Sunday and every 4th Thursday. 6:30pm-6:30am.Salary: $47.96/hour.
