Prime Management Group is partnering with a leading automotive manufacturer as they launch a brand-new, state-of-the-art production facility in Ingersoll, Ontario. Our client is seeking an experienced Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) to support installation, maintenance, and optimization of high-speed manufacturing equipment in a growing, technically sophisticated environment.

Salary: $45 per hour.

Position Overview

The Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems within an automotive steel blanking and stamping operation. The role plays a key part in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, assemble, align, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics
  • Perform inspections to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve reliability
  • Document work orders and maintenance activities through CMMS
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelinesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
Qualifications
  • Industrial Millwright (433A) License – Ontario (required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing
  • Experience with automotive stamping or blanking equipment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and gear systems
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals
  • Welding, machining, and fabrication experience considered an asset
  • Exposure to predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermography)
  • Basic electrical and PLC troubleshooting knowledge is a plus
  • Comfortable working shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
