What our Migration Solution Consultants do:

The remit of the Migration Solution Consultant is to bridge the gap between the business requirements and the impact of Migration and the technical components. The Migration Solution Consultant will lead our Clients through the Migration implementation, ensuring the requirements from each impacted business unit have been assessed, documented, implemented, and ultimately successfully delivered.

The Migration Solution Consultant will provide leadership and expertise in the following areas:

  1. Development of bespoke customer migration requirements.
  2. Business impact assessment as a result of both the migration and the implementation event.
  3. Platform proposition impact assessment.
  4. Regulation and advice on platform compliance.
  5. Customer training programs and knowledge transfer.
  6. Knowledge of the FNZ Migration process and market in which FNZ operates, and provide training and support for other areas of the FNZ business.

Specific Role Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership and support for the Migration Analysis team, building capability and supporting junior team members. Instill a spirit of continuous improvement in the group.
  2. Work with FNZ customers to help define migration and business requirements. Provide Market expertise as required. Be an SME in FNZ Migration functionality and apply this understanding to help customers define the migration requirements and identify the business areas and processes impacted.
  3. Have a full understanding of a Platform Target Operating Model (TOM), including the interfaces between platform and customers operations and FNZ Investment operations. Provide advice to customers regarding migration and reconciliation best practices.
  4. Be the link between the Migration and Platform Implementation team to ensure that all aspects of new platform implementation, and their impacts, are understood in respect of the migration process.
  5. Lead FNZ Customers through readiness activities that directly pertain to the Migration process.
  6. Document any bespoke customer requirements.
  7. Provide review and quality assurance of design documentation produced by the Migration Analyst Developer team.
  8. Provide training programs and knowledge transfer services for the FNZ customers.
  9. Have a good knowledge of the regulatory environment in which the Solution Consultant operates and provide advice and guidance to customers in respect of delivering a compliant platform.

Who we are looking for:

  1. 5+ years of experience in a delivery and/or consulting environment in the financial services and/or wealth management industry.
  2. An individual experienced in a consulting, analysis, or architecture environment in a migration setting.
  3. Interest and enthusiasm for investment/wealth/life and pensions products and the markets in which FNZ and our customers operate.
  4. An understanding of the local regulatory environment and an excellent working knowledge of the reg change requirements for a given year.

  1. Experience working within a business analysis/consulting role.
  2. Ability to establish a continuous improvement and capability development environment.
  3. Confident and able to take the initiative given client– and delivery-focused environment.
  4. Fluency in English.
  5. Independent, self-directing, and delivery-focused working style.
  6. Superior analytical thinking.
  7. Commercially aware.
  8. Intermediate computer skills essential.
  9. Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
  10. Good team communication skills, confident dealing with internal and external clients.
  11. Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
