About the role:

FIS Capital Markets is looking for a Canadian-based Sales Solution Consultant (aka PreSales) with a securities processing background. You'll support our Solution Engineering Group to help clients and sales teams uncover requirements and recommend solutions. You will perform in-depth reviews of client issues and suggest FIS solutions. Each consultant is highly trained and supported to grow their industry expertise.

What you will be doing:
  1. Consulting with clients/prospects to identify functionality gaps FIS can address.
  2. Determining the best solutions for clients' needs and how they can support overcoming challenges.
  3. Supporting internal stakeholders with industry insights, account profiling, and go-to-market strategies.
  4. Engaging in activities like RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations, presentations, account profiling, creating go-to-market materials, attending trade shows, and internal training.
What you bring:
  1. A desire to join our fast-paced Sales organization as a Sales Solution Consultant.
  2. Securities processing experience in the Canadian market, either as a vendor or user.
  3. Understanding of Canadian broker-dealer needs and brokerage operations.
  4. Ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  5. A willingness to learn.
  6. Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time.
  7. Ability to work remotely and as part of a team.
  8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Added bonus if you have:
  1. Training in presentation and demonstration skills (preferred but not required).
  2. Ability to speak and write in French Canadian.
  3. A preference for autonomous work and dislike for micro-management.
  4. Experience with advanced presentation tools, including video and AI applications.
