Job summary

EFCO Corp. is seeking a Welder II to perform MIG welding, fabricate forms, and assist with fixture work. You will read mechanical drawings and use basic tools to build forms and weldments, with attention to quality and process compliance.

The role requires reliability, basic fixture development, and a commitment to safety in a busy manufacturing environment. High school diploma preferred; welding test may apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MIG welding processes.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring tools down to 1/64 inch.

Responsibilities

• Weld forms and fixtures using MIG processes and fixtures as needed.
• Interpret drawings to guide fabrication and layout.
• Fabricate simple jigs/fixtures and maintain forms.
• Inspect welds for quality and record results in logs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow procedures.
