Job summary

DBG Canada Limited is seeking a MIG Welder for a permanent, full-time day shift from 7am to 3:30pm on site in Mississauga. The role requires GTAW CWB certification and at least 2 years MIG experience.

You will read blueprints, use jigs and fixtures, and work within Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management systems. Participate in shift rotations and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications

  • GTAW CWB certified.
  • Minimum 2 years MIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of jigs and fixtures is an asset.
  • Familiar with Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management systems.
  • Must know welding techniques and equipment.
  • Willing to participate in shift rotation and contribute to improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer quality requirements and specifications and seek process improvements (CIP).
  • Perform MIG welding tasks according to production schedules.

Day Shift 7am to 3:30pm

Maintain customer quality requirements and specifications, while continually improving process (CIP)

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • GTAW CWB certified.
  • Must have minimum 2 years MIG experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and familiar with welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of jigs and fixtures is an asset.
  • Familiar with management systems, ie. Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental
  • Must have knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
  • Participate in shift rotation as required.
  • Participate in making suggestions for continuous improvement of work environment and processes.
