University of Ottawa is hiring Teaching Assistants/Demonstrators/Lab Monitors for the Winter 2027 session in the Economics department. Two positions on the Main Campus will support ECO-1504, under Supervisor Mahamoud Houssein, from January 1 to April 30, 2027.

Total hours: 65 hours across grading, proctoring and student assistance. Applicants should have a BA in economics or equivalent, with familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel and Brightspace considered an asset.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent.
• Course completed or equivalent required; knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Brightspace is a plus.

Mansioni

• Grade and manage assignments and exams.
• Proctor exams as required by the instructor.
• Assist students individually or in groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the instructor.
