Job summary

University of Ottawa is seeking two part-time Teaching Assistants (TAs) for the Microeconomic Theory III course (ECO3153) to support correction, invigilation, and student assistance. Positions run January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027 and pay CAD 33.83–53.31 per hour depending on student status (undergraduate vs graduate).

In-person work at Main Campus. Applicants should hold a BA Honours in Economics or equivalent, with knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Brightspace considered an asset.

Qualifications

• BA Honours in Economics or equivalent, completed course or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Brightspace is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Corrections and administration of assignments and exams.
• Invigilate exams as requested by the professor.
• Assist students on a one to one basis or in group.
• Other related tasks requested by the professor.
