The University of Ottawa is seeking a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor for ECO2118: Introduction to Environmental and Natural Resources Economics. Position based at Main Campus, in-person delivery for the Winter 2027 term, January 1 to April 30, 2027, with 130 total work hours. Undergraduate/graduate tiering affects pay rates per hour.

Expected start date January 1, 2027; pay rates are $33.83 or $53.31 per hour depending on student level. VAC/policy details apply.

Qualifications

  • BA Honours in Economics or equivalent.
  • Successfully completed the course ECO2118 or the equivalent.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Brightspace is an asset.

Responsabilités

  • Correction and administration of assignments and exams.
  • Invigilate exams as requested by the professor.
  • Assist students on a one to one basis or in group.
  • Other related tasks requested by the professor.
