University of Ottawa is seeking two Teaching Assistants for the course Introduction to Labour Economics and Population (ECO-2514) at the Main Campus in Ottawa. Work spans January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027, with a total of 65 hours and two payment rates based on student level.

Undergraduates earn the lower rate; graduates earn the higher rate. The role includes in-person delivery, exam invigilation, and student support, governed by CUPE conditions.

Competenze

• BA Honours in Economics or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Brightspace is an asset.
• Experience assisting in university courses is preferred.

Mansioni

• Corrections and administration of assignments and exams for ECO-2514.
• Invigilate exams as requested by the professor and assist students one-to-one or in groups.
• Support the instructor with course administration and related tasks.
