Job summary

HIS Canada Travel Inc., a division of the H.I.S. Group, is hiring a MICE Coordinator to support the travel and events team in delivering meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.

The role combines event coordination with sales support to drive bookings and build client relationships. The position is hybrid, based in Canada, with responsibilities spanning proposals, supplier coordination, site visits, registration, and on-site support.

Qualifications

• Must be TICO certified.
• 1–3 years in coordinating or administrative role in events/hospitality/MICE.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end coordination of MICE events, including timelines, checklists, and documentation.
• Prepare basic proposals, quotations, and costing based on client briefs.
• Liaise with hotels, venues, DMCs, transport providers, and suppliers for rates/confirmations.
• Support site inspections and venue evaluations with schedules.
• Maintain accurate event files, databases, and reports.
• Coordinate registration, travel, and accommodation details for participants.
• Monitor service delivery during events and assist on-site.
• Assist with post-event tasks: feedback, reconciliation, and invoices.
• Contribute to general administrative tasks for the MICE team.
• Any other tasks assigned.
