Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced forklift/operator to drive material handling at our St. Albert facility. You will operate stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and order pickers to move inventory safely, perform high-reach stocking with fall arrest measures, and ensure accurate shipments.

The role requires valid certifications for the equipment, WHMIS knowledge, and a reliable vehicle for commuting to St. Albert, AB.

Qualifications

• Valid, active certifications for stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and order pickers.
• Fall Arrest certification up-to-date.
• WHMIS standards up-to-date.
• Reliable personal vehicle for commute to St. Albert location.
• Basic computer skills and RF scanner usage for inventory tracking.
• Own CSA-approved steel-toe boots and ability to clear pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and order pickers to drive material handling.
• Perform high-reach picking and stocking with fall arrest safety.
• Scan and track inventory with RF scanners to ensure order accuracy.
• Coordinate dock receiving and outbound shipments to smooth freight movement.
• Deliver professional communication with clients during pickups and inquiries.
• Maintain digital inventory records using standard computer systems.
• Uphold WHMIS and safety standards across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Drive material handling operations by skillfully operating stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and order pickers.
• Execute high-reach picking and stocking safely, utilizing fall arrest equipment to handle inventory at elevated heights.
• Scan and track real-time inventory using RF scanners to maintain flawless order accuracy and shipment visibility.
• Streamline dock receiving and outbound shipments to ensure freight moves seamlessly on and off transport trucks.
• Deliver exceptional customer communication when interacting directly with clients during pickups and inquiries.
• Maintain digital inventory records using essential computer programs to log inbound and outbound stock correctly.
• Safeguard the facility environment by upholding strict WHMIS guidelines and proactive workplace safety standards

Qualifications

• You hold valid, active certifications for stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and order pickers.
• You possess a valid Fall Arrest certification and are up-to-date on WHMIS standards.
• You hold a reliable personal vehicle to commute to our St. Albert location
• You have comfortable basic computer skills and hands-on experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking.
• You bring excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with teammates and clients.
• You come equipped with your own CSA-approved Steel Toe Boots and are able to clear standard pre-employment background checks.
