Job summary

Randstad Canada is hiring a dependable forklift operator to keep our warehouse moving in Edmonton. You will load, unload, stack and organize inventory using forklifts, and ensure accurate shipping and receiving with RF scanners.

We offer full-time hours with Day, Afternoon, or Night shifts and a strong emphasis on safety and career growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of hands-on experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Forklift certification with valid credential.
• Capable of prolonged standing, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE to move, stage, and store product safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, stack, and organize inventory with forklifts.
• Keep lines stocked and move finished goods to storage areas.
• Scan inbound/outbound freight with RF scanners to verify counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and report discrepancies.

What You’ll Do

• Operate Equipment: Load, unload, stack, and organize inventory using forklifts.
• Keep Production Moving: Keep lines fully stocked and move finished goods to storage.
• Navigate Safely: Move carefully and efficiently through busy, narrow aisles.
• Maintain Standards: Complete daily equipment safety checks and keep your workspace clean.
• Verify Details: Use basic math to count stock and verify shipping labels.

What You Bring

• Certification: A valid forklift license.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience operating Reach Trucks, Sit-Down Counterbalances, and Cherry Pickers.
• Commute: A reliable personal vehicle to get to work.
• Bonus Skills: Cross-docking experience is a big plus.
• Attitude: A punctual, hard-working mindset with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move, stage, and store product.
• Cross-Dock Distribution: Manage fast-moving freight through our cross-dock environment, ensuring minimal storage time and quick turnaround.
• Shipping & Receiving: Scan all inbound and outbound freight using RF scanners to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
• Shipment Verification: Verify physical counts against shipping documents (bills of lading, packing slips) to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Warehouse Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all company safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ months of hands-on experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Must have experience with forklift and valid certification ( minimum 1 year experience)
• A strict commitment to following all safety protocols and procedures is non-negotiable.
• Capable of prolonged standing, walking, and able to safely lift up to 50 lbs as required.
