Job summary

Magna Mining Inc. in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Specialist, Metals Accountability to join our Levack Mine team.

You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reconciliation of ore inventories, shipments, grades and commercial settlements from the point of crushing through final settlement with Magna Mining’s customers. Qualifications

• Post secondary education in Mining/Geology/Commerce or related field.
• 2+ years in mining operations, production reporting, ore accountability, or metals accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools.
• Experience with ERP, dispatch, and lab information systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead reconciliation of ore production, inventories, shipments, and payable metal from crusher to final settlement.
• Maintain accurate ore accountability records and investigate discrepancies across data.
• Develop and maintain mass balance reconciliations and standardized procedures for reporting integrity.
• Coordinate assay exchange programs and reconcile results with customers and internal data.
• Review settlement statements, assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
• Reconcile haulage records with production and customer data; monitor transport performance.
• Develop BI dashboards to provide a centralized view of production and commercial information.
• Analyze production, grade, shipment, and commercial data to support decisions.
