Job summary

MTtalent in Canada seeks a qualified Quality Manager to lead the company’s quality control program and drive improvement across manufacturing processes. You will manage scrap reduction, prevent returns, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and ISO 9001 standards.

The role requires 5+ years in quality management in heavy industry, a related bachelor’s degree, and certifications such as Six Sigma.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a quality management role, with heavy industrial exposure.
Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or ISO Lead Auditor preferred.
Experience in casting or metallurgy-based operations.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS frameworks.

Responsibilities

Direct and plan all Quality functions.
Promote a Quality-first culture across departments.
Manage customer scorecard requirements and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee quality metrics, supplier and subcontractor quality data.
Provide technical support related to quality for plant personnel.
Develop and maintain quality documentation and procedures.
Lead quality audits and liaise with external auditors or regulators.
Maintain KPI dashboards to track performance and customer service levels.
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
