Job summary

AtkinsRéalis’ Metallurgical Laboratory in Canada is seeking a dedicated technician to conduct operations across hardness, mechanical testing, non-destructive examination, and corrosion studies on materials. You will document results and present findings to customers, while ensuring safety and compliance with procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a metallurgy-related diploma, familiarity with ASTM testing, and hands-on experience with inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree in metallurgy (community college) or equivalent; preferred.
• Knowledge of metallurgy, welding inspections, and ASTM testing requirements.
• Strong practical aptitude with inspection/testing equipment.
• Proficiency in computer and word-processing applications.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

### **Job Description**## **Overview**AtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private sector nuclear engineering groups. We are proud to be the steward of Canadian CANDU nuclear technology.*The mandate of the Metallurgical Laboratory is to provide testing and analysis services with respect to materials both metallic and non metallic.
