Job summary

Buchner Manufacturing Inc. (BMI) in Newmarket, Ontario, is seeking a Press Operator to support stamping and production of metal building products. You will operate stamping presses, load coils, inspect products, label, package, and maintain production records in a fast-paced facility.

The position is full-time, hourly, with base pay of $21.80 per hour. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of working independently or in a team, and follow health and safety policies; forklift experience

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and certification (asset).
• Able to stand for long periods and perform heavy lifting.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Good communication with team.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections of press.
• Load coil.
• Feeding/loading coil.
• Preparing labels for boxes.
• Inspection of product.
• Packaging product.
• Stack boxes onto skids.
• Complete production paperwork.
• General housekeeping of work area.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times.
