C&A Group in Lethbridge, Alberta is hiring a Metal Fabricator / Welder (Journeyperson & Apprentice) for full-time, on-site work. Base journeyperson rate up to $42.00/hr; safety-conscious, quality-focused, and eager to grow.

You will fabricate, TIG weld alloys, and execute sanitary purge process piping, read blueprints, and follow health and safety regulations. Journeyperson requires Alberta Welding Certificate or Red Seal; apprentices need a HS diploma; CWb tests and a Class 5 license preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeypersons: Alberta Welding Certificate or Inter-Provincial Red Seal.
• Apprentices: High School Diploma.
• Certifications: Ability to pass CWB welding tests.
• Driver’s License: Class 5 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welding Processes: Perform SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW welds to specification.
• Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Technical Execution: Read blueprints, identify materials and parts, fit weldments, determine welding procedures.
• Mathematics: Apply fractions, measuring and geometry.
