Job description

Triodetic is currently seeking a full-time, permanent metal fabricator to join us at our Arnprior facility. As a Metal Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by transforming raw metal materials into precision-crafted components and structures. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to create metal products that meet strict quality and design standards. Your expertise in cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling various metals will contribute to the production of a wide range of industrial and commercial products.

Responsibilities

1. Transform raw metal materials into precision-crafted components and structures.
2. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to create metal products.
3. Cut, shape, weld, and assemble various metals.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator, demonstrating proficiency in various fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of metal properties, metallurgy, and fabrication processes.
• Good oral and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in using metal work tools and equipment, including welding machines, saws, and presses.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and assembly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to complete work within the expected period of time.
• Strong ability to communicate positively with colleagues.
