Healthy Planet is seeking a Merchandising Champion to keep our store organized, stocked, and welcoming. You will handle stock, displays, pricing, and customer assistance to create a wellness-focused shopping experience.

The role thrives in a fast-paced retail environment with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in retail, grocery, or produce-focused environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active during shift.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, open, unpack, and distribute merchandise to the sales floor.
• Compare merchandise invoices to deliveries to ensure accurate shipments.
• Use handheld POS systems to locate stock and organize shelves.
• Prepare merchandise for stocking, including unpacking and tagging items.
• Monitor inventory for damaged, expired, or low-stock items.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and reduce shrinkage.
• Set up and refresh displays to maintain visual appeal.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage across stocked products.
• Maintain clean, organized shelves, aisles, and storage areas.
• Answer customer questions and provide product location guidance.

As a Merchandising Champion at Healthy Planet, you’re the backbone of the store’s daily rhythm—ensuring products are in the right place, at the right time, and looking their best. Whether you’re receiving deliveries, setting up stunning displays, or restocking shelves with care, your attention to detail and efficiency will create a shopping experience that’s organized, welcoming, and wellness-focused.

This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in a job well done, and loves bringing order to the bustle of retail life.

The typical hiring range for this position is $18 to $18.50. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skill set, internal equity, and organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Handling & Stock Management

• Receive, open, unpack, and distribute merchandise to the sales floor
• Compare merchandise invoices to actual deliveries to ensure accurate shipments
• Use handheld POS systems to retrieve, locate, and organize stock
• Prepare merchandise for stocking, including unpacking and tagging items
• Monitor inventory to identify items that are damaged, expired, or low in stock
• Move stock from trucks to floor or coolers, especially in produce and refrigerated sections

Merchandising & Store Presentation

• Stock shelves with new or transferred merchandise following planograms
• Set up and refresh displays, counters, and feature tables to maintain visual appeal
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage are maintained on all stocked products
• Maintain clean, clutter-free shelves, aisles, and storage areas
• Rotate products regularly to ensure freshness and reduce shrinkage

Customer Support & Store Cleanliness

• Answer customer questions and provide helpful product location guidance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working and shopping environment
• Support other departments in keeping workspaces clean and stocked as needed

Training & Compliance

• Completion of required Lessonly training modules
• Ongoing participation in workshops and brand education sessions to stay current on wellness trends and company initiatives
• Demonstrated commitment to attendance, punctuality, team collaboration, and reliability

Other Duties

• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
