Job summary

Match Retail is hiring a Merchandising Associate to ensure shelf presence, install signage, and manage stock across Canadian stores, with focus on Nespresso displays.

You will visit stores, update product sections, and report findings to the Nespresso team. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours, hands-on projects, and the autonomy to work remotely with a company recognized as a Great Place to Work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car.
• Strong customer focus with ability to build lasting relationships.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and friendly.
• Ability to self-manage remotely.
• Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload pictures and fill out reports.
• Some physical labor required (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKU’s listed by point of sale (POS).
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan.
• Ensures negotiated footprint is respected.
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment/supply and minimize out-of-stocks.
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting.
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines.
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items, recommendations, etc. on each store visit to the Nespresso team.
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.
