Job summary

Brand Momentum is seeking an independent contractor Merchandiser to manage and refresh product displays at a retail location in Alberta. The role involves creating appealing displays, restocking per Planogram, updating seasonal pricing, and executing store-specific initiatives while visiting stores across the territory.

The position offers a flexible, independent schedule with competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to work with a national sales and merchandising team.

Responsibilities

• Make product displays attractive to customers.
• Stock and fill displays following a Planogram.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing.
• Place product orders.
• Execute account-specific initiatives (bookings, end caps, marketing programs).
• Identify opportunities to add value during store visits.
• Provide merchandising support: shelves, planograms, OOS, freshness.
• Prepare and submit reporting daily.

About the Position

Job Status: Open Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 6 hours per week on weekdays!

Starting Rate: $18/HR

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support - maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
