Job summary

Brand Momentum Inc. is seeking an independent contractor to join our national merchandising team as a merchandiser in Hamilton, Ontario. You will work 17 to 18 hours per week on weekdays, visiting retail locations to set up and maintain product displays.

You will need strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs while adjusting planograms and updating pricing as needed. The role offers a competitive hourly wage and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Make packaged product displays appealing to customers.
• Bring products from storage and fill up displays per Planogram.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing.
• Place product orders as needed.
• Execute account-specific initiatives (bookings, end caps, marketing programs).
• Collaborate with store staff to add value during store visits.
• Provide merchandising support: shelves, planogram changes, OOS, freshness.
• Submit required reporting daily.

About the Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 17 to 18 hours per week on weekdays!

Starting Rate: $19/HR

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support – maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties

• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
