Job summary

London Drugs is seeking a Merchandise Handler ECOM to support our E-Commerce Fulfillment team at the Distribution Service Centre. You will process online orders accurately and on time, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

In this fast-paced role, you will engage with various business systems and participate in transfers, inventory control, and special orders. The position offers growth within logistics, operations, and process improvement disciplines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational abilities with prioritization of competing responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Kibo (OMS), AS400, Vocollect, Open RSA and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Canada Post (EST), Purolator and UPS systems is an asset.
• Post-secondary education or coursework in Operations, Logistics, Process Management, Business Administration or Information Technology is considered an asset.
• Willingness to work variable shifts and support business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform E-Commerce order fulfillment activities with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Follow up on pending transfers to ensure inventory arrives and is processed promptly.
• Collaborate with Assistant Manager and Team Leader, E-Commerce Fulfillment.
• Coordinate with DSC Technical Specialist and Coordinators to complete Special Orders and store-stock orders efficiently.
• Work with Head Office units including E-Commerce, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Loss Prevention.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support additional operational duties as required.

Merchandise Handler ECOM

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our E-Commerce Fulfillment team. This role plays an important part in delivering exceptional customer experience by ensuring online orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with multiple teams throughout the organization to support order fulfillment operations and help ensure customers receive the products they need. This position provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your operational, logistics, and problem-solving skills while gaining valuable experience with a variety of business systems and processes.

What You’ll Do

• Perform E-Commerce order fulfillment activities while maintaining high standards for accuracy, efficiency, quality assurance, customer service, and cost management.
• Follow up on pending transfers to and from stores to ensure inventory arrives and is processed promptly.
• Work closely with the Assistant Manager and Team Leader, E-Commerce Fulfillment.
• Coordinate with the DSC Technical Specialist, E-Commerce Fulfillment Coordinators, and other fulfillment locations to ensure Special Orders, Pre-Orders, and store-stock orders are completed efficiently.
• Collaborate with Head Office business units, including E-Commerce, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Loss Prevention teams.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support additional operational duties as required.

• Post-secondary education or coursework in Operations, Logistics, Process Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Practical Instruction, or LEAN methodologies is considered an asset.
• A willingness to work variable shifts and support business requirements.
• A strong desire to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to team success.

Hours of Work

Primarily Dayshift or Afternoons, Monday to Sunday. The status of this position will align with the successful candidate’s current employment status.
