Job summary

London Drugs is seeking a Shipper/Receiver (Stockhandler) in Vancouver to join our team. The Stock Handler is responsible for receiving all incoming merchandise from store shipments and supplier direct orders, ensuring changes or credits are verified, and maintaining an organized receiving area.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, provide courteous service, and collaborate with store management on receiving priorities. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Receive all incoming merchandise from store, internal shipments and suppliers.
• Maintain and organize the receiving area and coordinate with management on volume.

• Physical ability to lift, move, and stack heavy boxes.

Shipper/Receiver (Stockhandler)

The Stock Handler position is responsible for receiving all incoming merchandise into the store from both internal shipments and direct orders from suppliers in order to ensure that all changes or credits for merchandise are verified.

In addition to the above duties this position is responsible for the maintenance and organization of the receiving area and daily communications with store management regarding receiving volume and priorities.

Applicants must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment while at the same time providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.

You will have a positive, mature, and professional leadership style, Strong organizational abilities combined with accurate administrative skills, and basic computer skills. Good physical condition is key as this position requires lifting, moving, and stacking of heavy boxes/merchandise.

If you have a high degree of self-motivation, the ability to work with a sense of urgency, combined with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, then we have the opportunity for you to excel!
