Job summary

Ontario NDP is seeking an experienced Membership Development Coordinator to grow, engage and retain our party membership. The six-month contract role reports to the Provincial Director, supporting riding associations and organizers to sustain a growing membership.

You will lead recruitment and renewal campaigns, analyze membership trends, and coordinate outreach with staff to align growth with organizing and fundraising goals. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years engaging with members, volunteers, riding or constituency associations or similar organizations.
• Minimum three years in membership development, political or community organizing, fundraising or related field.
• Two years’ experience with membership lists, databases, or large datasets and using data for objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to re-engage lapsed members and recruit new members across Ontario.
• Support riding associations with recruitment tools, training and materials.
• Track membership data and identify growth opportunities and concerns.
• Maintain and process memberships, renewals, and updates with the Membership Services Officer.
• Coordinate renewal campaigns and outreach materials.
